Zombie believers

22 06 2013

Never allow anyone to deceive you into believing that God has placed a legal limitation upon the efficacy of the blood of Christ, or that there are those who cannot repent, even if they wanted to, because God has deliberately placed them outside the scope of His redemptive purpose! This blasphemes the grace, the love and the integrity of God, and makes Him morally responsible for the unbelief of the unbeliever, for the impenitence of the impenitent, and saddles Him squarely with the guilt of the guilty as an aider and abettor of their sin!

This is NOT what the scriptures teach, for the Lord Jesus Christ made it abundantly clear that the reluctance is on man’s part, and not on God’s – John 3:16, John 3:36, John 11:25-26.

Without freedom of choice it is impossible to obey or to disobey, to be commended for the one or to be condemned for the other!

Some would have you believe that only some specially individuals can obey the Gospel and accept Christ as their Saviour, because God has given them the ability. This involuntary ‘obedience’ to obey is a ‘zombie-like’ response orchestrated by God, leaving the ‘zombie believer’ no option in the matter either way! On the basis of this crazy hypothesis, the fearful judgment of God will fall upon those who have remained in their rebellious state of unbelief, only because they have been unable to exercise an ability to obey the Gospel, which only God can give, and which He has refused to give them! Such an idea can only bring the righteousness and judgment of God into contempt and disrepute.

Contrary to this religious farce, the revelation that God has given to us by His Holy Spirit through the scriptures is crystal clear:

1 John 2:1-2 (AMP) My little children, I write you these things so that you may not violate God’s law and sin. But if anyone should sin, we have an Advocate (One Who will intercede for us) with the Father—[it is] Jesus Christ [the all] righteous [upright, just, Who conforms to the Father’s will in every purpose, thought, and action]. 2 And He [[a]that same Jesus Himself] is the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins, and not for ours alone but also for [the sins of] the whole world.

1 Timothy 2:6 (PHILLIPS) 3-6 In the sight of God our saviour this is undoubtedly the right thing to pray for; for his purpose is that all men should be saved and come to realise the truth. And that is, that there is only one God, and only one intermediary between God and men, Jesus Christ the man. He gave himself as a ransom for us all—an act of redemption which happened once, but which stands for all times as a witness to what he is.

Hebrews 2:9 (AMP) 9 But we are able to see Jesus, Who was ranked lower than the angels for a little while, crowned with glory and honor because of His having suffered death, in order that by the grace (unmerited favor) of God [to us sinners] He might experience death for every individual person.

It is every person’s inherent GODLY ORDAINED right to choose which is at the very heart of the mystery, both of the mystery of godliness and of the mystery of iniquity.
