The narrow way?

13 03 2012

Religious Christianity preaches a message that focuses on just about everything except Jesus Christ. It preaches what the apostle Paul would call “no message at all” – Galatians 1:6-7. It focuses on what man must do to be “a good Christian” and not on the finished work of Christ. This “wide gate gospel” literally leads millions of well-meaning and sincere Christians down the proverbial garden path which ends in destruction.

This is what Jesus was talking about in the following verses:

Matthew 7:13-14 KJV  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  (14)  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

This is a very serious scripture and we as Christians need to wake up from our religious slumber, and find out what the “narrow way” is. My personal belief is that the narrow way is the “doctrine of Christ” – the gospel according to the mystery of the revelation of Christ in us! This gospel is not the historical accounts of Jesus of Nazareth, but the gospel given to the apostle Paul by Jesus Christ Himself.
